The funny thing is that there are hundreds of music videos out there of Burning the Cross. All these nice videos are made by MF fans and none of the videos contain information or pictures of me This is most likely due to the vast majority of fans did not know that I am playing this song. Despite composing Burning the cross, playing all rhythm guitars, the primary long guitar solo and two of the four short solos Burning the Cross was a nr. 1 song on Capital Radio in New York for a little more than two years. A friend of mine shared with me he was reading Rolling Stones magazine, an interview with Metallica. The band stated that this song was the biggest inspiration and made them wanna play music, shaping the band becoming Metallica. When they go to Denmark they would go to Buddinge (where I lived back then), to thank Benny Petersen for starting their career.. . . the band never showed up though..
